It's not exactly a hotel but rather an apartment - it does not have a restaurant or breakfast. That said, it's super clean and new, safe and staff was helpful.

Lovely, Spacious, Modern, Well-Equipped and Quiet Stay Just Off Kappabashi Street

Booked last-minute. Super spacious and nicely-decorated room with all the amenities we needed. The best-equipped kitchen we’d experienced on our month-long trip to Japan. We had both a tatami mat area with a low table as well as a standard dining table. We wanted to be close to Kappabashi Street, which was great. But, what was even more great was how quiet our room was. Also the streets around the hotel seemed more like a Tokyo from some time ago, an older Tokyo, and we really liked the vibe. The room was very clean and we loved all the outlets where we could charge our devices. The staff was very nice. We were only there for one night. In the morning we realized we had a view of the Tokyo Sky Tree from our window.

The only thing is there isn’t a great place to store your clothing and things. When you open the door there is a little space where you take your shoes off with a small set of drawers and a small bar where you can hang a few clothes. But, it is a little awkward and small. considering the space available, it seems this could be improved. But, it’s a minor gripe considering everything else.

Comfortable stay with a fantastic view of the Skytree close to Asakusa in a quiet neighbourhood

The KOKO Hotel Residence is situated in a quiet(!!) neighbourhood that is within walking distance of Asakusa district and the Senso-Ji Temple (10 minutes). There is also a bigger supermarket close by (5 minutes walking) that has a great selection of food and drinks. The KOKO Hotel staff was very welcoming and was super helpful in finding vegetarian restaurants for us. The lobby also provided amenities that you can take to your room, e.g. toilettries as well as coffee powder, tea or cacao. Our room was situated in the upper levels with a great view of the Skytree (just a wonderful sight at night). The room matched the descriptions and pictures advertised. The room size was quite big for Japanese standards, enough space to relax and move around. The bed was big and did fit 2 people easily. It was the best bed during our Japan trip, not as hard as other beds we slept on. The room was super quiet, not much noise from outside. There is currently a small building site close by, the sounds were minimal during our stay even with open windows. The window can be opened, which was a plus, not wide but enough to let fresh air in. The airconditioning worked fine and did not disturb us during sleep. There was a fully equipped kitchen with some pots and pans (enough to cook a simple meal), dishes and cutlery, glasses and cups for up to 4 people. There was a small fridge (which was a bit loud, but can be disconnected from the power source), a small oven, and a microwave. The toilet is separate from the bath- and powderroom, a separation we appreciated. There was also a washing machine that was very valuable for us. It is easy to use by the english instruction provided and includes a drying programm as well. Overall, we really liked our stay at the KOKO Hotel Residence and would stay there again.

- the fridge was a bit loud (and maybe could replaced) - the KOKO Hotel Residence is a bit far from the Ginza metro line (best access to the city), to compensate use the Tsukuba Express line which is much closer (5 minutes walking) than the Tawaramachi Station/Ginza Line (ca. 800 meter, 10 minutes)

We loved our stay here. It was comfortable and pleasant.

The room is big enough for the four of us. I liked the amenities such as washing machine with dryer, a mini kitchen with cookwares and table wares. The best part is the view of the Tokyo Skytree from our window.

It was a bit far from the train stations, but we enjoyed the walk because of the cool weather.

Will definitely stay here again.

The location was ideal. We did not walk to Ueno JR Station, but always took the taxi. The taxi fare was reasonable. Taxis were readily available. The hotel staff were friendly and always pleasant. Several convenience stores were within a very short walking distance. Very close to Kappabashi Street. Walkable to Kaminarimon, Nakamise Dori and Sensoji Temple. Washer/dryer in room was a great convenience. Kitchen appliances were all clean.

We were satisfied with our stay there.

Room was spacious and well equipped with kitchen facilities. We could prepare breakfast .

The washing machine cum dryer was not to my satisfaction. Our clothes were all crumpled up after the drying. I did not experience this when using a separate washer and dryer in other hotels.

The room I reserved was very spacious and came with a well equipped kitchen and 2 different areas to sit/eat which was great for a longer stay. It is rare to find that much space in Tokyo at an affordable price. Everything was perfect and I really enjoyed discovering the little local restaurants and cafe nearby.

Correspondence with hotel regarding our request for a bunk bed room. When booking we specified the bunk bed room. Then we were told the bunk bed would not be made up. After several communications later we were advised we would get the room with a made up bunk bed. When checking in, we were told we were not getting it. Also emails that day which I did not read until the next day, also mentioned not getting the requested room, but later saying we would. In the end, we did get the bunk bed room, so everything was fine.

We had a great stay in this hotel. The hote staff are well disciplined and great customer service!

It's accessible to subways/train stations. Location is near to tourists spots especially Don Quijote! We had a problem when we bought something from Don Quijote, the guy hotel staff in the lobby that night was really nice to help us to resolve our issues. His name is in his name plate is R. Kanazaki. I would like to commend Mr. R.Kanazaki for a great customer service and extra mile he did! All of the staffs are nice and Disciplined too! The guy upon our check in even offer a Free stroller for my niece during our whole stay! high security ( even elevator have passcode) unlimited Toiletries and amenities you can get in the lobby! hair care and body wash was provided already in room but you can get also in the lobby if you want other brand like Pantene or lux. But the one provided in the room is also good! ️ GREAT VIEW FROM OUR ROOM (9th floor) you can see tokyo sky tree from the window, and animated view from the main door! our whole stay was safe, nice and comfortable! ️

Nice intimate place to stay in Tokyo

The staff is very friendly although their English is somehow limited but they make a great effort to please you. I also liked the coffee service they have at the lobby and the washer and dryer is very convenient.

Location is a bit far from points of interests of Asakusa, it is also a bit far from subway stations, although I do not mind to walk.
